so this will be the last update for this page. Any future mods will be displayed on
my normal page. Drove the car 100miles today, breaking in the clutch. All is
well. Besides the map sensor contraption allways falling off (causing an EGR code),
no problems at all (tranny also is whining in 1st and 2nd gear...)
Engine bay shots.. you can
see the mess that exists behind the valve cover. The wire loom is so huge that I
couldnt fit it anywhere, so it just looks messy.

flywheel with a pic of the new CFDF BB clutch I ordered

Pics of the new 1g head from Con
icelli, the port sizes between 1g intake manifold (top) and 2g intake manifold (bottom),
and lastly the gasket on my 2g head shows the difference between the smal2g head ports and
the 1g head ports (that gasket is for the 1g head)

1g manifold ready to bolt on with all
the stuff from 2g manifold transfered over, notice the fuel rail is ready to go on with
the -6an fitting, and cleaned up the 1g water pipe and coolant neck... next pic is
my car in its state in my garage, and how I plugged up the water hole in the front of the
block

Here I am tapping the fuel rail for
the -6an fitting, next pic is the fuel pump line already installed (-6an line to the front

removed, as well as the case and all the parts that were removed
The process I went through to
remove my transmission. All by myself with my knees and a jack. Tricky but
doable...

Clutch removal process. Look
how thin the disk got. This was a hair off the rivets. Time for a new clutch
(CFDF BB 2500 pictured, I ordered the same one).

All thats left, and the parts
pilup on my garage floor... Time to order the parts and start assembly and cleanup.

hoses and wiring

Broken turbo bolt! AARGG!!

TRE Ported exhaust manifold out of
the clear.. note the torch and liquid wrench i had to use to remove the above bolt, which
broke anyway.. doh!

Web cams still in good shape after
2 months. No indentaion where the rollers ride.

Valve train, 2g valves (you can
see how #1 valves are lighter in color than #4, which means your #1 chamber runs the
hottest), 2g intake manifold and the head off the car with everything still attached

OOPS! Dropped a contact in
there! Juuust kiddiing..

My good pal GREG..
