This was very unfortunate for me, as my 2nd transmission went bad in only 30k miles.  I was cruising on the highway, when all of a sudden I heard this loud whirrrr sound in 4th gear.  As I slowed down it started sounding like loud clicks (like having a playing card in your bicycle spoke sound).  I have opted to remove the tranny the very next day, and was going to rebuild it.  Being that I was pressed for time and never did a DSM tranny rebuild, I decided to travel to Conicelli in PA and pick up a brand new tranny.  Now, with a huge dent on my credit card, I am back on the road.  Soon to come pictures of what went wrong with my first tranny.  ( I suspect bearing or Viscous Coupling / Diff failure, since the night before I went boosting with my rear brakes locked.  This could have caused an unbalance in the awd system, burning up the diff or VC)

This is the tranny removed from the car in my garage, on my poor aching knees and hands :(  And pics of the new tranny back in the car.  Nice and clean eh?

In the mean time, I had ordered a new turbo (FP's Green turbo) and decided to install it.  I had to cap off the coolant lines from the old 20g since this turbo is only oil cooled.  I also did some engine bay cleaning, tightened any bolts/clamps, redid my lower fmic pipe to fit the new turbo, and created a new 3" maf pipe.
